Key Learning Outcomes
The objective of the Master’s programme is to educate experts and managers for sustainable international forestry. The graduates will become specialists in international operations and have knowledge and skills to motivate and lead people and manage projects in multicultural organizations and working environments. They will be able to analyze, interpret, and make decisions based on diverse data in international forestry context. The degree is focused on understanding global trends and using forest related big data in local forestry decisions.

The graduates will be able to be managers and specialists in demanding tasks in international forestry.
Access to Further Studies
The master’s degree from a university of applied sciences produces the eligibility for postgraduate studies as a master’s degree from a university.

Graduation Requirements
Completion of studies and achievement of competence objectives in the extent set by the curriculum.
Mode of Study
Contact days once a month, 1 or 2 intensive weeks during the studies. For the most part studying is distance learning.
Development of the Programme
The Ministry of Education and Culture’ definitions of policy and TAMK’s strategy have been considered in the curriculum. The feedback from working life representants has been used in making of the curriculum.
