The student 
-is able to act appropriately when first aid is needed 
-knows the principles of first aid in states of emergency 
-knows the most important principles of nursing and understands their significance in  patient /client care 
-learns nursing interventions 
-learns the regulations concerning medical and parenteral care as well as their  implementation 
 
Course contents: 
-first aid in states of emergency 
-action in other first aid situations 
-cooperation with authorities in unusual conditions 
-principles of nursing  
-principles of nursing interventions 
-regulations concerning medical care 
-implemention of parenteral pharmacotherapy
