Objective of course 
The student 
-knows external quality assessment methods of basic urine samples and identifies cells and other particles in related pictures.  
-recognises the most common normal and pathological findings in quality assessment seminar pictures and blood smears 
-knows the meaning of morphological criteria in assessment of cytological findings 
-knows the external quality assessment of blood transfusion serological tests and can interpret the specimen reactions 
-is able to evaluate ECG and spirometry findings of external quality assessment 
 
Course contents 
  External quality assessment uses Labquality material 
-basic urine sample quality assurance process. Microscopy and recognition of sediment findings in slides 
- microscopy of blood smears and slide seminar 
- microscopy of pap smears,  assessment of findings based on criteria- 
- participation in quality control of blood transfusion serological tests 
- interpretation of ECG and spirometry findings by means of cases
