Objectives

In this course, students will deepen their communicative skills for expert tasks in their field. The course aims to advance thesis writing, develop argumentation skills, practice meeting techniques, and enhance presentation skills for academic and professional contexts.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

• Critically evaluate the source of information
• Produce scientific texts considering the audience, situation, and field requirements
• Act appropriately in professional meeting situations
• Prepare a clear, targeted expert presentation for the intended audience.

Scientific writing, source criticism, and referencing technique
Meeting skills
Expert presentation skills: presentation structure, argumentation, and illustration.

Prerequisites

The course is primarily designed for fourth-year students who have already practiced the skills to be deepened in this course during their previous studies.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Student will be able to:

- Produce text in an understandable and formal style by following models and guidelines.
- Create an expert presentation.
- Justify their opinions and viewpoints.
- Know how to act in a meeting situation.

Student will be able to:

- Create an engaging and audience-oriented expert presentation.
