Objectives

Different kinds of manufacturing methods are introduced so that the students learn their principles and differences in order to find the most economical solutions. The students get to know the quality assurance system of a company and the most important quality tools and ways of measuring in a workshop.

Content

Processing of plastic, powder metallurgical processing, casting, machining such as turning, milling, drilling and grinding, platework and welding, forging. Quality standard ISO-EN 9001:2000, statistical methods for quality assurance, quality price system.
