Objectives

Different methods of casting and welding are introduced so that the students learn to know them and can compare these form giving methods to each other in order to find the most economical solution to manufacture a product.

Content

Permanent and sand mold processes, arc- and beam welding processes, plate forming and thermal cutting. Automation of these processes.

Material engineering, manufacturing technology.
