Code: 5T00EI06

Credits

5 op

Objectives

The student is able to
- identify, analyse and calculate the needs for air conditioning for non-residential buildings taking into account the functionality and energy efficiency
- search for information concerning the areas of air conditioning and share it with other students
- analyse the principles of sound technology and look for ways to improve noise control
- apply the Mollier diagram in the control of air conditioning processes
- seek different solutions for the air conditioning of a non-residential building
- reason why a particular solution is beneficial

Content

Seminars run by the students on areas of air conditioning. Noise control and calculation. Sources of noise and noise suppression. Working on solutions for a non-residential building and making a reasoned choice.
