Objective of course
Students
-recognize the characteristics of different art forms (literature, fine arts, theatre, music, cinema, dance) and broaden their view of art
-acknowledge the therapeutic and caring features of creative methods in social work
-can analyze art experiences via supplementary material and discussions

Course contents
-concepts of art
-experience of different art forms and comparison of notes
-visits to exhibitions and galleries etc.

Teaching methods
Lectures, tutorials, study visits to galleries, movies, theatres.

Assessment methods
Active participation in the contact lessons, learning diary. Reading of literature in "home groups".

- analyze art experiences via supplementary material and discussions

- concept of art
- experience art forms and compare notes
- visiting exhibitions and galleries etc.

Lectures, tutorials, practices in small groups, study visits in galleries, movies, theatres.

Assessment methods
Active participation and activity in the contact lessons, learning diary. Literature covered in “home groups”.
