Objectives
The students can
- understand, recognise and can define factors related to adults' life situation, movement, functional and working ability and changes in them
- can take into account the above mentioned factors and possible changes in them in planning and implementing physiotherapy
- recognise and justify what types of theoretical models guide their thinking and actions with a patient or a customer in physiotherapeutic examination, planning and implementation
- analyse problems in neural, passive (bones, joints, joint capsules, ligaments) and active (muscles, respiration, blood circulation)
- explain pain as a multifaceted phenomenon and subjective experience

- physiotherapy in heart and respiratory problems
- physiotherapy in musculoskeletal problems
- physiotherapy in psychophysical problems
- pre- and postoperative physiotherapy of surgical patients
