Students
- know the physiological changes and the changes in balance, walking and motor learning which they affect
- have an understanding of the services directed for the elderly as part of the social service system
- know the possibilities offered by well-being technology and aids to support independent and functional daily living of the elderly
- know how exercises, medication, intoxicants and nutrition affect in the functional ability of an aging person
- know ICF model in physiotherapy for the elderly
- know the most common illnesses and their affects to the functionality of the elderly
- know the right medication for the most common illnesses
