Objective of course:
Students
-are familiarised with the learning and working environments of nursing
-activate their professional thinking and professional growth
-recognise their own values concerning nursing profession
-know the diverse working environments of nurses
-know how to act in situations demanding fire and rescue activities in Pirkanmaa University of Applied Sciences
-follow hand hygiene in their own activities
-master waste disposal and general cleanliness in the learning environment of nursing
-know the basics of information search and are able to search for information in reference databases
-understand the nature of scientific knowledge
-know the structure of scientific research, ethical principles and main research methods

-legal position of nursing students in the health care system
-cleanliness and hand hygiene in nursing environment
-basics of fire and rescue activities
