Objectives

Student is able to carry out data transfer systems of forest machines and value optimisation in cross-cutting of timber. Student knows how to do adjustments of machines and understand importance of service and maintenance for usage of machines. Student understand stages of mechanical harvesting in practice and main principles how harvester´s measuring equipment is functioning.

Content

Data transfer in forest machines, basics of technology in forest machines, adjustment, service and maintenance. Practicing logging
and extraction with harvester and forwarder simulators and with real forest machines. Value optimisation in harvesters and measuring equipments. Physics dealing with main topics.
