Objective of course
Students are able to describe the structure of atoms, periodic system and chemical bonding. They are capable of writing chemical compound formulas, naming inorganic compounds and writing chemical equations. Students are acquainted with the mole concept and able to apply it in chemical calculations. They are able to explain the significance of equilibrium in chemical reactions and familiar with the factors influencing equilibrium. Students understand the concepts of acid, base and pH and are able to apply them in practical work.
