Objectives
The students develop their technological and scientific way of thinking. The students know the scientifical analysis of phenomena as well as applying the fundamental theories to oscillation and wave movements, sound, light, atom and nuclear physics. The students know the basics of nano technology.
The students know the physical laws behind the operating principles of different devices and machines. The students are able to present well-grounded solutions to problems.
Content
Mechanical oscillation, wave moment, sounds. Electromagnetic waves, quantization, interaction of photons and matter. Atomic energy levels. Nuclear structure, radioactivity, nuclear energy, nano technology.

PTK-302 Electricity and Magnetism or equivalent
