Objectives
Chemical chemistry
The students learn quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and their theoretical framework. The students know how to use analysis equipment and to carry out laboratory analysis independently. The students understand the importance of taking samples and preparations. The students know how to handle chemicals in a proper and safe manner and to take the environmental viewpoint into account.
The students know how to work in groups and how to report their analysis.
The course forms the basis for professional development.
Content
Through theory and laboratory work, the course deepens the concepts of solubility and precipitation, acid-base theory, oxidization and reduction reactions, electrochemistry and the operations principles of analysis equipment.

Inorganic chemistry and laboratory work (PTK-400) or equivalent
