Objectives

The students learn the basic principles behind the Finnish electric energy system and the most important factors affecting electrical safety. The students learn about choosing electrical appliances as well as electric motors and their usage.

Content

The basic structure of the Finnish electric energy system, structure principles and basic components of electric networks, the basic characteristics of the most common rotating electrical devices, structure and components of electric motors, basics of choosing electric devices, measuring wires, basics of electrical safety.
