Objectives

The students are able to design and dimension the basic structures of a building’s electrical network. They know how to use various installation methods and to select equipment and devices. The students are able to apply regulations and standards in practice.

Content

Dimensioning and structure of a building’s electrical network, feeder switchboard system, transformer substations, high-voltage equipment, grounding and potential equalising, compensating, central structures and planning central. Shielding methods. Defining the need and method of control, circuit diagram design, electrical outlets, device selection, installation methods, branch circuits, cable routes, UPS network.
