Objectives

The students will be able to understand the meaning of the market based product strategy and product development as well as the methods, organisation, budgeting and protection of the results of the product development.

Content

The different phases of product development. The assessment of the product from the marketing and ecomic aspects. The selection of the product mix. The special features of product goods.

Educational methods: teach-in, demonstrations, series of lectures, study conversation, cooperative learning, self study/distance learning, exercises, assignments, practical work, exam, collective learning, field-work (incl. study trips) and problem-based learning.
