Basics of Computer Systems for EngineersLaajuus (3 cr)

Objectives

The students learn to use the necessary programs needed for their studies and how to use the TAMK data network services. The students learn to independently seek for information from the literature of the field.

Content

Using a computer, user interface and resource management, software applications, structure of a computer, using the most common tools, e-mail, Internet, information retrieval from the Internet, making a homepage, using TAMK’s data systems.
