Code: 12I210

Degree title
Bachelor of Engineering
Credits
240 ects
Duration
4 years (240 cr)
Start semester
Autumn 2012

Description

In electrical power engineering the use technique of the electricity, high and low voltage distribution of the electric energy, the electrical engineering of industry and buildings and techniques, which support these, such as the automation systems, control systems and monitoring systems, are studied. The graduating engineers know the responsibilities related to the electrical engineering and know how to apply their knowledge in practice. The degree includes the educational standards (electricity validity 1) required for the management of the electrical work. The engineers of this field work in the planning-, operating- and management tasks of industry, electricity plants and electrical installation, technical trade, administration and as entrepreneurs in both domestic market and in international tasks.
