Objectives
Student is able to
-use Matlab in numerical and symbolic calculations
-produce different kind of graphs with Matlab
-use Matlab in engineering computations of his/her own field
-use Simulink in modeling and simulating technical systems
Content
Basic use of Matlab and Simulink. Different kinds of graphs and data handling in Matlab. Using m-files and programming in Matlab. Modelling dynamic systems and stochastic simulation.

Tekniikan 1. vuoden matematiikan opinnot
Assessment criteria, pass/fail
Student shows that he/she is able to use Matlab and Simulink to solve and visualize basic technical problems by executing the required exercises.
