Objectives

The students can
- give names, write structural formulas and understands isomerization of the derivatives of carboxylic acids, organic nitrogen and sulfur compoundsexplain organic chemistry reaction types and mechanisms
- work safely in the laboratory
- follow Finnish and English work instructions
- use organic chemical equipment
• working methods of organic chemistry
• synthesize and analyze the organic substances
• make conclusions and report the results of their work
