Objectives
Opiskelija osaa ylläpitää, kehittää ja arvioida kielitaitoaan ja kielenoppimisen taitojaan. Hän osaa toimia ravintola- ja hotellialan työympäristössä suullista ja kirjallista kielitaitoa vaativissa tilanteissa ruotsin kielellä. Hän osaa hankkia tietoa ja hyödyntää sitä oman asiantuntijuutensa kehittämisessä.

-can maintain, develop and evaluate his/her knowledge of the language and language learning skills

Getting acquainted with the vocabulary needed in hotel and restaurant environment by means of texts and exercises of different types 
 
Teaching methods 
Contact teaching based on authentic, communicative, experiential and cooperative methods and independent studying 
 
Assessment methods 
Active participation in the planning of one's own learning and work forms of the course, written and oral tasks and self-evaluation.  Examination and / or a language portfolio composed during the course 
 
Prerequisites 
General upper secondary school syllabus in Swedish (B-language) or an equivalent level (the competence level A2-B1, CEF*)
