Content

Objective of course
The course will give the students a better understanding of the influence of the cultural background on personal behaviour. The course will help them appreciate the cultural differences as richness in the international communication and prepare them for intercultural situations.

Course contents
- culture by Hofstede and other major scholars
- elements of culture
- impact of culture on the behaviour of individuals
- features of the major cultures of the world

Teaching methods
Lectures, group-work, written and oral assignments

The assessment methods will be specified at the beginning of the course
