Objective of course
Students know how to access and gather information from various electronic sources, data bases, professional journals and literature. They are able to write professional and academic text and use appropriate register in their oral and written communication. Students manage in demanding professional, oral and written communication situations including meetings, negotiations and conferences. They are aware of cultural differences and how they affect language usage. Students know how to plan, monitor and assess their own learning.

Teaching methods
Pair and group work, co-operative and collaborative learning, independent study including oral and written assignments. Students' own active participation in planning and implementation of their learning.


Assessment methods

Peer and self-evaluation, teacher's assessment of class performance including personal development, effort, and oral and written work. Attention is paid to following instructions and keeping deadlines. Oral and written test. Grading on a scale of 1-5.
